"Procedure"

Recommendation :
  • Before performing all these steps, remember to have Windows Defender disabled.

We go to the bottom right, click on the "Notifications" icon and then on "Settings".

22

This window will show this window, in which we will choose the "Update and Security" option.

23

On the left side it will show us several options, we will choose "Windows Security" and then click on "Virus and Threat Protection".

24

A new window will open, in which we must look for the "Manage configuration" option in the center of the window.

25

In this part we must look for the "Exclusions" option, once we find it, click on "Add or Remove exclusions".

26

In this part is where we will add our files to exclusions. First we click on "Add Exclusion" and then on "Folder".

27

In this window we look for where we have installed or saved our game "CygnusMS v111"
(in this case I have it installed in the local disk C), select it and then click on "Select forlder".

Once the folder is added, click on "Add Exclusion" and choose the "File" option, look again where we have installed or saved our game
"CygnusMS v111", select the file "MSK.exe", then click "Open".

When we finish adding the 2 files mentioned above, it will show us a list of all the files added to "Exclusions" of our Windows Defender.

Note:
  • These steps are only for users with Windows 8, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10
  • It is also recommended to add Client.dll, Client_1.dll and Cygnusms.dll files to exclusions.
